I promised to take photos of these two lovely subjects over a year ago - we all got busy and then I got pregnant and then got busy again! We finally succeeded and spent a lovely warm Sunday morning in the park - here are two of my favourite shots!

Another beautiful newborn to photograph this month - I am so blessed. It was lovely to be able to meet this precious little one, only two weeks old. And aren't his parents looking wonderful?! I wouldn't believe they have an infant in the house! Congratulations again...I hope you like your sneak peek images.

A day on the farm - with twins!

I spent a lovely Sunday morning last week, visiting an old friend and meeting her twins! I've been trying to book in a shoot with these darling 16 month olds for almost a year now, so it was exciting to finally be free, and not pregnant, so I could keep up with them! Harry and Lizzy were stars - though shooting twin toddlers was a challenge! I'm so impressed that their mum keeps up with them every day!

Such a gorgeous family, I am sure you will agree!

What I've been up to lately....

While I am still officially on maternity leave, I've had a few wonderful friends convince me that I need to at least photograph newborns. And I just can't say no, as it's such an honour just to be asked. Plus I get lots of fresh-new-baby cuddles and who could pass that up?

First, adorable Mitchell. Probably the best poser I've ever had, though his momma, who I took maternity photos of just a week or two before, comes a close second. (I had her sitting on wet beach sand on a cold, blowy June day!)

and then another Love - only a week old. I just love this pic and wanted to share. Baby feet are just so beautiful!

I had to take my new little one with me to these two shoots and he definitely proved that I shouldn't be coming back online too quickly :) but I hope to be back on the wagon in January some time....stay tuned!

So, some good news and some bad news...

Dear lovely clients and friends,

The good news - I am thrilled to finally be able to publicly announce that I am almost 6 months pregnant, due in May with a "normal-sized" (according to my OB) boy!

The bad news - Because I am already struggling with chasing my own toddler, I've decided to restrict Linkylou bookings to newborns only. While all is healthy and progressing, it's not a sensible idea for me to do the diving and reaching and chasing that is required for toddler shoots, let alone the fact that I think it's physically impossible for me to lie on my stomach at the moment!

So thankyou, thankyou, thankyou to all of you who have helped my business thrive in 2009 - it was thanks to the referrals of clients and friends that it all took off and kept me so busy! I'll send an email/update my blog and post a Facebook message when I'm back to full speed again (probably sometime in 2011!)

Changes for 2010

Hi all, or anyone really as I am not sure if anyone actually follows this blog!

I've decided in 2010 that I will be raising my sitting fee to $120. As I've gotten more confident with processing, I've also become more picky and so it's actually taking me MORE time to complete disks. I hope you understand.

Also, for anyone not in the know, my family and I are headed to the USA for Christmas this year. We'll be away til late January so I won't be taking bookings until the middle of February 2010.

It's been a fun experience this year and I thank you all for your interest.

Ethyn is such a charmer - it was great to see how much he'd grown since the last time I'd photographed him. He certainly gave me a good workout too, chasing him around the Botanic Gardens. Luckily, he's gorgeous enough to get away with it - watch out Mum and Dad when this one hits teenagehood!

Standard fee - $120
(This includes the (approx) 90 minute sitting, plus a CD of images mailed within four weeks, of at least 40-50 images of your child).

Additional sitting - $50
You may choose an additional sitting on the same day if you wish to have several children photographed. This can be negotiated at the photoshoot if you are unsure.

Travel to locations more than 20km from Darlington, south of the city where LinkyLou is based - $10

(You can circumvent this by choosing to have your photographs shot in a central city location, such as the Adelaide Botanic Gardens or a beach such as Brighton or Hove).
